Joel Schoon Tanis Artwork

A native of Holland, Joel Schoon Tanis was recently commissioned by Hope Church as part of a reconciliation project. We were more than happy to build the frames for his work. We chose simple, modern gallery frames to highlight his rich, complex and wonderful style, which he explains as a child’s wonderment for God’s creation, full of “color, whimsy, and honesty.”

The works will be installed at Hope Church once the new building renovations are complete.

Be sure to check out Mr. Tanis’ exhibition this Saturday (April, 16) at Armstrong DeGraaf International Fine Art in Saugatuck, Michigan. Hours will be 1-5pm.
