Losa Restoration – Part 2: Water bath

The Losa lithograph will need several water baths to lift the contaminating acids. Following each washing the artwork is blotted, which pulls even more acid out. Then we asses the progress: does it need another simple water bath, or do we need to add chemistry, or do we need to fine-tune that chemistry? Decisions, decisions, decisions.
