Edna Hotchkiss Watercolor Restoration

We were commissioned by the Saugatuck Historical Society to restore this watercolor on paper by Edna Hotchkiss. The painting depicts and is called “The Chain Ferry” and dates from about 1945.

    Edna Choate Hodgkins (American, 1900-1980. She was a painter who worked in Saugatuck area and was associated with Oxbow art community. The Saugatuck Historical Society will have good information as well. Thanks so much, Kari
