This work by Jane and Sherwin DeGraff, is a mixed media on cardstock paper, that depicts Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Unfortunately, it was tempted by foxing, and a mold invasion that caused a grey/black pattern to appear over the entire image. Scuffs, abrasions, bends, and one deep gouge also compromised the work’s innocence. The liquid in the jar is a chemical solution, specifically formulated for this job, as mixed media presents an array of components where the best solution is the one most forgiving to all.
